Drivers heading to Harrisburg High School urged to leave early

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO)– Schools are starting classes all over KELOLAND. For students, Harrisburg road construction is impacting how staff, students, and parents get to school.

The parking lot at Harrisburg High School was full of cars on the first day of classes. The 18 hundred students who attend found some roads closed around the school today.

Willow Street is undergoing a major expansion to widen the road into four lanes with an added turn lane. Principal Ryan Rollinger advised parents and students via Facebook that they won’t be able to get to the school using the Cliff Avenue roundabout…
