Fans of Love on the Spectrum may know Logan Pereira as one of the show’s rising stars, but it turns out he has a pretty cool connection to Massachusetts. More specifically, Taunton.
Pereira recently shared a video on Instagram while visiting his mother’s hometown, giving his followers a little taste of something many people around here know very well. I’m talking about the famous chow mein sandwich.
He was very dialed in to his food review, something I admire as a local foodie.

Logan Pereira Visits Taunton, Massachusetts
“Hey guys, my mom’s hometown, Taunton, Massachusetts,” Pereira said in the video before showing off his meal from China Kitchen. For anyone outside of this little corner of New England, the idea of putting chow mein between two hamburger buns might sound a little unusual. Around Taunton, Fall River and the SouthCoast, however, the chow mein sandwich has been around for generations.
