Pittsburgh Public Schools will revise its school handbooks this year after discrepancies and inconsistencies were noticed between policies and procedures.

The handbooks, effective for the school year beginning Monday, were posted to each school’s website last week. During last week’s school board meeting, assistant superintendent for instructional leadership Monica Lamar said every school implemented a “standardized, Pittsburgh Public Schools handbook.”…
