Construction is underway at Chef Menteur Highway and Crowder Boulevard in New Orleans East, where a $15 million privately funded development project aims to bring national brands, local businesses, and new retail options to the area.
Developer Troy Henry said the site will feature national names like Starbucks and Fat Boy Pizza, alongside local mom-and-pop businesses. Henry hopes the project will help address the need for more business in the area.
