HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Four men and one woman were arrested on various drug charges after authorities say they uncovered several grams of synthetic cannabinoids and other drugs while searching an Evansville apartment on Wednesday.
According to authorities, detectives with the Evansville Police Department and the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office executed the search warrant in the 600 block of Sweetser Avenue. During a search of the home, detectives reportedly recovered 84 grams of synthetic cannabinoids, 3 grams of MDMA, 0.9 grams of cocaine and 0.1 grams of marijuana. A 9mm handgun was also reportedly recovered in an upstairs bedroom.
Officers say that while executing the search warrant, the sole resident of the apartment, Tasyra Johnson, 29, returned to the apartment and cooperated with authorities during the investigation. Johnson told officers that four men had come over to play video games…
