SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – The City of Savannah invited the public to a community celebration honoring the legacy of the former Savannah Civic Center as demolition of the former arena gets underway.
“Honoring the Legacy, Building the Future” was the name of the event that took take place Thursday, Aug. 20, 2026, in the Civic Center parking lot.
