(WXIN/WTTV) — Work on U.S. 31 means upcoming lane and ramp closures in Howard, Hamilton and Tipton counties.
The Indiana Department of Transportation said the planned closures are for a paving project. They’ll be in place next week from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Here’s what to expect:
Monday, Aug. 24
- One lane closed on State Road 26 between County Road 200 W. and County Road 400 W. in Howard County. On-site flaggers will direct traffic
Wednesday, Aug. 26
- One lane closed on U.S. 31 southbound between 236th Street and 216th Street in Hamilton County
- 236th Street ramp to U.S. 31 southbound closed
Thursday, Aug. 27
- One lane closed on U.S. 31 northbound and southbound between 236th Street and 226th Street in Hamilton County
- U.S. 31 northbound ramp to 236th Street closed
- One lane closed on State Road 19 between State Road 28 and Hickory Drive in Tipton County. On-site flaggers will direct traffic
