CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – This week’s heat wave will continue through today. Temperatures will soar into the mid-to-upper 90s this afternoon. High humidity levels may make it feel as hot as 110°. (Oddly enough, today is the first day that the “normal” or “average” high drops to 89° in Charleston.)
The National Weather Service has issued yet another Heat Advisory for the coastal corridor today. Georgetown, Charleston, tidal Berkeley, coastal Colleton, and Beaufort counties will be under a Heat Advisory from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
