MADISON COUNTY, Ala. — A North Alabama mother is pleading for answers a week after her 16-year-old son was struck and killed while walking on Capshaw Road, and the driver responsible is still on the run.
Thomas Butler, known to friends as JT, was walking on Capshaw Road near Rustic Cedar Lane when he was hit by a black Toyota 4Runner. The driver fled the scene and has not been identified.
