LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX NEWS) — Laken Snelling, the former UK student indicted on charges connected to the death of her newborn last summer, entered a guilty plea on Friday in Fayette Circuit Court.
It brings an end to a year-long process dating back to when police discovered an unresponsive newborn at her apartment in Lexington last August.
Police were called to a residence in the 400 block of Park Avenue around 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 27 for an unresponsive infant. Officers arrived to find the infant, who was pronounced dead at the scene…
