Next level, excessive heat next week in El Paso

I certainly hope you get a few drops of rain tonight because this is the best shot we have for moisture for a while. Here’s a radar snapshot that shows one isolated shower near Anthony. Most of the lighter green are drops evaporating before hitting the ground.

TONIGHT:  The skies will be partly to mostly cloudy.  We have a chance for a few isolated showers here and there from the heat, but most drops will evaporate before hitting the ground.  Occasional gusts will be possible as storms in New Mexico break apart.  Late evening, the skies will be partly cloudy and will turn clear overnight.  The low will drop to 76, and the SE winds will range from 5-10 mph.
