Crews are working in suburban Plainfield to repair two tornado sirens that were damaged by recent severe weather in the Chicago area.
According to officials, two of the community’s five tornado sirens were damaged during last week’s derecho and subsequent severe storms, and both are currently out of commission as repairs are undertaken.
