BOLIVAR, Mo. (KY3) -Debbie Ikerd of Ozark received a phone call from someone claiming to be with Liberty Utilities. The caller told her she was behind on her bill and demanded she pay more than $200 immediately.
“He said I was behind and I need to pay it immediately and I’m on the list for disconnect today,” Ikerd said.
Ikerd said something did not seem right, and she hung up the phone…
