CONWAY, S.C. (WBTW) — A North Carolina man pleaded guilty a week before his trial was set to begin for a 2024 home invasion and shooting in the Grand Dunes neighborhood of Myrtle Beach, the 15th Circuit Solicitor’s Office said.
Traymon Blitt, 28, pleaded guilty on Wednesday to first-degree burglary and attempted murder, the solicitor’s office said. Circuit Court Judge Alex B. Hyman sentenced Blitt to 20 years in prison.

The victim, Kelvin King, told News13 in May 2025 that he was on his couch and woke up to a loud noise. He said he grabbed his gun but did not see anyone on his property.
