NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Recent Shelby Park visitors may have noticed yellow flowers are starting to poke through, which means is almost time for the annual Superbloom.
The meadows of Shelby Bottoms reach peak bloom from late August to early September, where beautiful yellow blooms and bright purple flowers blossom across the park. The flowers in bloom are the tickseed sunflower, which bloom bright yellow, and ironweed, which produces purple flowers.
