GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A new class of future physicians were officially handed their white coats on Saturday as Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine welcomed 190 first-year medical students during its annual Matriculation and White Coat Ceremony.
For some students, the milestone was especially meaningful because they are beginning their journey close to home.
