Inside Nebraska met with several commits and targets in Georgia on Friday. Here’s the latest intel on some key 2027 commits, rising 2028 targets and some names to know in the 2029 class.
In case you missed it, here are the evaluation notes on four Nebraska commits who competed in Tyrone (Ga.) Sandy Creek’s 21-13 win over Loganville (Ga.) Grayson.
*** Nebraska four-star offensive tackle commit Timi Aliu is up to 6-foot-5, 319lbs as a senior but notes by the time he enrolls at Nebraska he could drop back to the 295-300lb range he’s currently listed at so the strength and nutrition program can adjust his frame as needed. Aliu is on track to enroll in January and he’s excited about what this 2027 class can do. He’s eying multiple return trips to Nebraska this fall. His first trip back will be for one of the non-conference games, just depending on flights and his own high school schedule. He did note multiple programs are still in touch, most notably Georgia, along with North Carolina and Florida State. While he is still in touch with assistants he’s established good relationships with at each program and noted he could even make a visit or two elsewhere this fall, those visits would just be to see some college football games he wants to see. He made sure to note he is locked in with Nebraska, “I know I’m GBR for life.” I’ll have more on the four-star later this week…
