KALAMAZOO, Mich. — The Michigan Horseshoe Pitchers state singles championship tournament wraps up Sunday.
Michigan’s Horseshoe Pitchers Association (MHPA) state championship tournament began Friday night and wraps Sunday, including a MHPA Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

Classes A, B, C, D, E played Friday, followed by classes F, G, H, I and J on Saturday and Sunday, according to event officials. The MHPA’s Cadets, the grouping for kid pitchers, also played Friday.
The tournament hosted 64 participants from all over the state, according to MHPA Secretary, Treasurer and Statistician Michele Burns. Their oldest competitor is 6-years-old and their oldest is 80-years-old…
