SURFSIDE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Sif, a chocolate Labrador retriever K-9 officer with the Surfside Beach Police Department, officially retired Saturday after completing 264 deployments during her law enforcement career.
Community members and fellow officers gathered at the Surfside Beach Pier to mark her retirement, showering the police dog with tennis balls following her final radio sign-off.
