(FOX40.COM) — A vegetation fire burned in the community of North Highlands, spreading to area vehicles and threatening homes before being put out.
According to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, crews were dispatched to the 7300 block of 34th Street at approximately 4:21 p.m. Sunday.
Upon arrival at the scene, firefighters found a grass fire threatening multiple homes. According to fire officials, the fire had spread to nearby vehicles, including several tractor trailers.
The fire was contained after burning approximately four acres, and no homes or structures were damaged, officials said. There were no reported injuries to firefighters or civilians…
