A New Orleans man convicted of killing two people during a botched armed robbery in Mid-City six years ago will spend the rest of his life in prison after an emotion-filled sentencing hearing Friday.
Eric Cloud was 17 when he shot and killed Angel Funez and Niukura Gonzalez, both 25, early on the morning of Feb. 8, 2020 in the 4000 block of Ulloa Street.
