Following their success in Clawson, the owners have found a new storefront downtown.
Loc@l is working on expanding to a second location at 44 W Columbia Street in The District Detroit. This will be at the building connected to the historic Fox Theater. Co-owner Jacob Kruk told What Now Detroit he and the team are hoping to open by March Madness in 2027.
Jacob operates the Clawson spot at 143 E 14 Mile Road in Clawson with his father, George Kruk. The two are also owners of Kruk Cards, a sports trading cards business based in Rochester. They debuted the first Loc@l in September 2024, and many had recommended Detroit to be their second location…
