Man accused of maiming dog by dragging it from car rearrested after violating bond

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – A man is back behind bars months after police say he intentionally maimed a dog by dragging it outside a moving car in Memphis.

Anthony Gailey-Burdine, 32, was rebooked on a bench warrant Monday for violating his bond conditions in this case, according to court documents.

Gailey-Burdine was originally booked the day of the crime, on April 14.
