CALABASH, N.C. (WECT) – A grill fire destroyed a home in Calabash over the weekend.
According to the Calabash Fire Department, the fire broke out Saturday, Aug. 22, and was put out in 30 minutes.
“In only a matter of minutes, a grill fire grew into a large and destructive structure fire,” the fire department said in a social media post. “This photograph provides a powerful reminder that fires can spread extremely quickly and leave very little time to react.”…
