KC man faces three felony charges

CLAY COUNTY, MO — Arraignment is at 2 p.m. Monday in Clay County for a Kansas City man charged with three felonies.

Felipe C. Mora, 43, is formally charged with second-degree burglary, second-degree tampering with a motor vehicle, and resisting arrest.

According to the probable cause statement, deputies were dispatched to a burglary in progress on June 27 and advised of three suspects in a stolen tan Chevrolet pickup truck with no license plates. While enroute, a deputy located the vehicle heading south on Interstate 35 and attempted a traffic stop, but the suspects failed to yield and led deputies on a high speed pursuit.
