Bicyclist struck by SUV in Town of Tonawanda

TOWN OF TONAWANDA, NY — A 70-year-old bicyclist was injured after being struck by a Mazda SUV at the intersection of Sheridan Drive and the Rails-to-Trails Pedestrian Path.

The collision occurred at approximately 1 p.m. on Aug. 23, according to Town of Tonawanda Police Chief Corey Flatau.

The bicyclist, a Town of Tonawanda resident, was treated at the scene by Town of Tonawanda EMS and transported to Erie County Medical Center…
