FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – An officer arrested a teen who was riding a motorcycle over 100 mph following a high-speed chase from the highway into a neighborhood on Monday, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
An officer attempted to stop the 19-year-old motorcyclist wearing a Superman shirt, who was traveling north on Highway 41 near the Herndon Avenue exit, according to CHP.
When the officer attempted to stop the teen on the highway, the teen on the sports bike took off and reached speeds over 130 mph, according to CHP. The officer initiated a pursuit and followed the rider, according to officials.
