Woman dies 5 days after alleged DWI crash in North Carolina

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The victim of a crash in north Charlotte last week died five days after the incident, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police.

And the suspect is already in jail on a hefty bond.

Officers responded to a two-vehicle crash just before 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 17 at the intersection of West W.T. Harris Boulevard and Statesville Road.
