KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Several construction projects are underway across East Tennessee, including resurfacing on Middlebrook Pike, the Alcoa Highway project and the addition of a diverging diamond interchange along Emory Road.

Marie Miller, a driver in the area, said she wants to see signs posted on Emory Road in Powell reminding drivers not to block intersections. She also asked drivers to be more considerate of people trying to pull out of business parking lots.

“I wish there were signs up on Emory Rd in Powell tell drivers to Not Block Intersections. Plus be a little nicer to people trying to pull out of business parking lots give them a break you would want one,” Miller said…
