KALAMAZOO, Mich. — With students returning to classrooms soon, Communities In Schools of Kalamazoo is asking more community members to volunteer their time as tutors, mentors and other student supports.
The nonprofit, which has been working in Kalamazoo for more than 20 years, currently partners with 20 of Kalamazoo Public Schools’ 25 buildings, according to Kelly Leversee, CIS’ volunteer services coordinator
