MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Humidity creeps up again through the end of the week and brings the return of pop up showers and storms.
WEDNESDAY
Humidity begins to return on Wednesday and will bring back the risk of a few pop up downpours and storms. In fact, a few showers may be ongoing across the Grand Strand around sunrise Wednesday. The risk will then tend to shift inland with the sea breeze in the afternoon.
Temperatures will once again stay seasonable with afternoon highs in the 80s to near 90.
DAILY STORM CHANCES
Humidity will remain high through the end of the week. When combined with a weak front nearby, pop up showers and storms will be possible each day through the weekend.
Based on the latest data, the best chance of more widespread showers and storms appears to be Friday and rain chances may eventually need to be increased further.
With an uptick in activity likely through the weekend, make sure you have the WMBF First Alert Weather App downloaded…
