NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department is trying to locate a pickup truck and its driver that police say were involved in a hit-and-run. The case is the latest one to roll on the Wheel of Justice.
According to police, the crime happened around 2:15 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 16, near the corner of Freret and Broadway streets. Police also released a security camera image of the truck that they say was involved.

The intersection is near the campuses of Tulane and Loyola. Groups of students and other young people are routinely there at all hours.
