MAYFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio — Officers stopped to check on two males selling candy outside of K&G Menswear Aug. 13 after recognizing them from a past incident.
They provided different names than they gave the previous day when they were warned about selling candy on private property. One of them gave a different name to two different officers. He was later found to be a Cleveland man, 18, and was arrested for trespassing. A Cleveland police detective had helped identify him and said that he had just gotten out of jail after being convicted on an aggravated robbery charge.
The second candy seller was found to be a 16-year-old Cleveland resident. He was released to his mother and will be charged in juvenile court for trespassing…
