OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A town hall meeting is scheduled for Wednesday to give Omaha residents an update on the Crossroads development.
It will also give voters a chance to discuss a $155 million bonding authority to help build a $181 million public safety headquarters, which will go before voters in November.
The facility would house administrators from the police and fire departments and would be located at the Crossroads Mall site currently being developed. City officials believe both departments’ administrators will be more efficient in one building.
Aging facilities
