This Saturday, August 29, Riverfront Nights will feature Departure: A Journey Tribute as this week’s headliner.
In their 18th year together, Departure is the most respected Journey tribute band in the nation. Replicating the look, sound and feel of the original 80’s rock supergroup, Departure will take the stage after Hot Fuss: A Killers Tribute opens the show.
Hot Fuss is a high-energy regional tribute band based out of Atlanta, dedicated to recreating the synth-pop, indie-rock sound and electrifying live performances of Las Vegas alternative-rock band The Killers.
This is an extended evening with Riverfront Parkway closed to encourage fun on the City Green as well as on the riverfront. An extended night means more room for great food options! This week’s food truck alley will open at 6 p.m. and run until 10 p.m., giving attendees plenty of time to visit food vendors and additional beverage offerings from Coca-Cola and TriStar…
