CLEVELAND, Ohio — More city-owned land is being lined up for public use across Cleveland after City Council approved the transfer of 134 land bank parcels for future parks, recreation centers, trails and public facilities.
The parcels will be transferred from the city’s Land Reutilization Program to the control of the departments of Parks and Recreation and Public Safety under an ordinance passed last week.
The legislation identifies parcels needed for the expansion of 35 parks, four recreation centers and a trail.
