EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – An Evansville woman arrested in May in a neglect case is now facing a much more serious charge.
Kathryn Payton is now charged with neglect of dependent resulting in death.
As we reported previously, Payton was arrested after police say a pest control worker found her father and brother living in deplorable conditions inside a Lincoln Avenue apartment.
Police say Payton told them she was trying to “teach them a lesson” for not picking up after themselves…
