HENDRICKS COUNTY, Ind. — A Hendricks County man has been arrested for child solicitation following a conversation with someone he believed to be a child but was actually another man.
According to court documents, officers with the Plainfield Police Department received an anonymous call on March 3 regarding a possible child solicitation attempt within an online chatroom. Officers received screenshots of the chatroom and saw at least one user asking if there were any young girls in the chat that wanted to talk.
Officers then received screenshots of a phone conversation and located a number that corresponded with an individual identified as Leon Dobiesz. Court documents show Dobiesz had allegedly made several inappropriate comments to who he thought was a 13-year-old girl…
