A 29-year-old man from the Paw Paw-Kalamazoo area faces charges of fleeing and eluding, resisting and obstructing, methamphetamine possession, and driving without a license, after a police chase in Paw Paw on Tuesday, Aug. 18, according to a press release from the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office.
Van Buren County Sheriff Daniel Abbott reported that Narcotics detectives attempted to stop the man around 1:35 p.m. on Kalamazoo Street near South LaGrave Street because he was driving without a license and the vehicle was uninsured.
