(FOX40.COM) — A Modesto man was sentenced to more than 37 years in prison for sexual crimes against minors, the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of California said Monday.
According to officials, 31-year-old Jacob Jacobsen contacted “dozens of minor females” on Snapchat, using aliases and claiming that he was 16 or 17 years old. One of the victims was a 13-year-old girl from Memphis, Tennessee, whose mother informed law enforcement of communication between Jacobsen and her daughter.
Jacobsen solicited sexually explicit photos and videos from the children, something he admitted to doing for five years before his arrest, officials said. He was charged with the sexual exploitation of minors and receipt of child sexual abuse images…
