SHREVEPORT, La. – The conviction and life sentence imposed on a man who attempted to cover up the murder of his girlfriend has been upheld by the Second Circuit Court of Appeal.
Brandon Lindsey was convicted of the 2023 second-degree murder of Heaven Weed. He appealed his conviction, arguing Caddo District Judge Christopher Victory should not have allowed the introduction of evidence of his past behavior at his trial.
