CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – On Wednesday, ODOT sent an update on ohgo.com to notify drivers about a recent closing on a highway in Cleveland.
According to the website, as of 5:21 p.m. I-77 North at I-480 is restricted. Around 4:40 p.m. I-77 North at I-480 was closed due to repairs and maintenance.
From Independence Police Department, a metal piece on the bridge was knocked out of place, resulting in cars getting damaged. Officers shut down the highway until proper repairs could be made.
