ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Watch out for pop-up showers on Thursday morning and afternoon, along with a chance of afternoon thunder in the Finger Lakes area. There will be plenty of dry time, but keep an eye on the sky as things could change quickly.
This is out ahead of a cold front that will slide through later in the evening. The front itself likely won’t produce much in the way of wet weather other than a few isolated showers toward sunset. Temperatures on Thursday should once again reach into the lower 80s with a touch more humidity in the air.
That cold front will be gone by Friday morning, but we’ll start the day with some clouds and the slight chance of a stray shower early. Then high pressure and drier air build back in, which will clear our sky nicely into the afternoon. It’ll be a bit cooler, with highs in the lower 70s on Friday afternoon…
