Eugene police arrested four people after raiding a local sandwich shop and two residences in connection to an investigation into illicit drug operations.
The Eugene Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit stopped and arrested a 52-year-old Eugene man outside of the Sub Shop on West 11th Avenue Aug. 24 in relation to a previous investigation, according to EPD spokesperson Chelsea Deffenbacher. Police searched his car where officers say they found individually packaged bags of fentanyl.
According to court records, the Lane County District Attorney’s Office charged the man on Aug. 25 with one felony count of unlawful delivery of methamphetamine, one felony count of unlawful possession of methamphetamine, a felony count of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor charge of unlawful possession of fentanyl…
