LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — As nearly 2,800 students begin a new school year in the Manheim Central School District, some high school students will spend part of their time learning outside a traditional classroom. Such as welding, working with an automated greenhouse and even turning locally donated logs into lumber for class projects.
Superintendent Dr. Ryan J. Axe said nearly 2,800 students and over 500 staff members are starting the 2026-27 school year.
