ATM thieves allegedly distracted elderly victims in San Diego County

SAN DIEGO (KUSI/FOX 5) — Two Los Angeles men accused of stealing thousands of dollars from bank customers by swapping their debit cards at ATMs pleaded not guilty Thursday to multiple felony charges.

Sergio Romero, 40, and Franklin Florez, 31, are accused of targeting Wells Fargo customers across Southern California. A judge ordered that the men’s faces not be shown in media coverage of their court appearance.
