GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) — The Green Bay Police Department says a camera called the Eagle Eye is helping cut crime in city parks.
Police have used the Eagle Eye since 2022. It has been deployed at locations around the city and, most recently, in city parks.
Camera moved between parks
Police parked the Eagle Eye at St. John’s Park for about two weeks earlier this month. Capt. Tom Denney of the Green Bay Police Department Community Services Division said officers had received calls for offenses including littering, open intoxicants and simple drug possession at the park.
