A Cleveland nurse and CPR instructor brought her message of emergency preparedness to Erie on Thursday with a lesson designed for kids.
Val Woods presented her children’s book, “Team Cardiac: The Heartbeat of Heroes” at Werner Books and Coffee to teach young readers how to recognize a cardiac emergency, call 9-1-1 and understand the basics of CPR.
