A man has been arrested in connection with a robbery in Roanoke, according to the Roanoke Police Department.
The incident occurred Thursday in the 1700 block of Hershberger Road. Authorities said that when officers arrived at the scene, the suspect believed to be involved in the robbery had already left the area.
Roanoke police said their iSTAR (Intelligence, Statistics, Technology, Analysis, and Research) personnel used license plate reader technology to help locate the suspect’s vehicle.
