CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – School resource officers are once again walking the halls of Charlottesville City Schools for the first time in six years.
This school year, Officer Tyree Kirby is assigned to Charlottesville Middle School, while Officer Arron Arreguin serves at Charlottesville High School.
For both officers, the goal is not simply to be present inside the buildings, but to build relationships with students before they ever need help…
